1. Crunches:

How to do it:

  • Lay down flat on the floor.
  • Bend the knees with feet on the floor.
  • Place your hands by the side of your ears.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • Crunch up lifting the head and chest a bit. The aim is to try and touch the knees with the forehead. But do not try to do it in the first attempt. Give your body some time.
  • Now move down gradually, exhaling the air. Descending movement must be slower than the crunch up movement.
  • Repeat the steps 5 to 10 times.

2. Side Crunches:

How to do it:

  • Lie on your back flat on the ground, and let your knees be bent.
  • Turn at the waist, keeping your shoulder and the upper part of your back flat on the ground.
  • Now lift your head without bending your neck.
  • Now lift your head up and come back slowly.
  • Do 2-3 sets of 10-12 reps and increase gradually .

3. Bending Side To Side:

How to do it:

  • Stand straight with your feet together. Raise your hands above your head as in a praying position.
  • Bend your body towards the right as much as possible till you feel strain on your left waist.
  • Stay for 10 seconds.
  • Return back to the previous position.
  • Now bend left side and stay for 10 seconds.retain the original position.
