BAKING SODA STOPS HAIR LOSS & PROMOTES HAIR GROWTH IN NO TIME!
Baking soda has many uses. Besides adding it to your favorite recipes, you can also use it for cleaning around the house, even to treat some health issues. But have you ever tried putting it on your head?
Yes, using baking soda instead or regular shampoo can make your hair stronger and shinier. It is a completely safe and natural way to enhance the growth and prevent hair loss. The best part is that it is not expensive at all.
If you still have doubts, read the following reasons why you should start using baking soda for this purpose.
#1 BAKING SODA CLEANS YOUR HAIR THOROUGHLY
Very often we are unable to wash the hair completely and leave shampoo and conditioner behind. These make the hair heavy and greasy. Baking soda will remove these residues and ensure your hair is really clean.
#2 BAKING SODA CLEANS THE HAIR FROM CHLORINE
This is very important for professional swimmers and those who make frequent visits to the pool. Swimming pools contain chlorine, which penetrates the hair and damages it. If you are dying your hair, chlorine can alter its shade! The use of baking soda will help remove this harmful element and protect your hair from damage or color change.
#3 BAKING SODA HELPS HAIR GROW FASTER
The residual hair products can make your hair heavy. These chemicals can lead to decreased hair growth. As we said, baking soda will get rid of them and help your hair breathe freely. This way, your hair will grow faster and stronger than before.
HOW TO PREPARE A HOMEMADE BAKING SODA SHAMPOO
All you need for the preparation of this recipe is baking soda and some water. Mix 1 part soda with 3 parts water in a large bowl. Prepare the amount in accordance with your hair’s length; the longer the hair, the more of this homemade remedy you will need. For example, if your hair is shoulder-length, mix two teaspoons of baking soda combined with 12 teaspoons of water. Transfer into a plastic squeeze bottle.
You can apply this mixture on dry or wet hair, starting from the roots and moving towards the ends. Gently massage when you apply it and make sure the whole hair is covered. Leave it for 5-10 minutes, then wash off with warm water (not hot!)
Note: If you don’t have baking soda on hand, replace it with apple cider vinegar. Mix it with water as well, but this time the ratio is one part vinegar to four parts water. Optionally, you can add a drop or two of essential oil (any kind).
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR EYES ARE PROTECTED WHILE APPLYING THIS MIXTURE.
Baking soda and apple cider vinegar are bot inexpensive and widely available products. They are safe to use and contain no chemicals or toxins. They will help your hair refresh and make it less greasy.
